Outright Winner
This market is where you are betting on the player who you think will go on and win the title. The earlier you place your bet, the better. For example, if you bet on O'Sullivan now you can find odds of 3.25-3.50, but if he wins a few matches those odds will start to decrease.
Match Winner
With this market, you are putting your money on a player to win a particular match. In other sports, such as football or rugby, you can bet on a match ending in a draw, but this is not usually the case in snooker as they use a knockout format where the winner advances and the loser is eliminated. Matches at the start of tournaments that involve the likes of Trump and O'Sullivan against lesser opponents are not worth betting on as the odds are too short.
Total Frames
This is an over/under market where you are putting your money on the total number of frames in a snooker match. Your bookie will give you a figure, and then you need to decide whether the total frames will be higher or lower than that number. For example, if they offer several over 7.5 in a best-of-11 match between Selby and Allen, then you need to decide if the match will have at least eight frames (over) or seven frames or fewer (under).
Correct Score
With such a market you are predicting the winner of the game as well as the final score. This is not an easy market to predict, which is why it usually has some enticing odds attached. Due to the difficulty levels, I do not recommend that you place huge stakes on such a market, but it can be fun to put down a euro or two.
Frame Winner
If, for example, Carter and Higgins are playing, instead of betting on the winner of the match you can put your money on the player that you think will win the following frame. With this market, you do not care who wins the match, as long as your chosen player wins the frame that you bet on them to win.
147 Break in the Match
You can often bet on whether there will be a 147 scored in a particular match. Due to it not happening that often, you can find some attractive odds for this market.

- Four of the highest-ranked Chinese players outside the WST top 16
