After the first few weeks of matches, I do not reckon that there will be many Irish cricket fans putting their money on the Netherlands to pick up their first win of the competition. Not many were looking at South Africa as potential winners of this tournament, but they have since shown that they have the batting and bowling power to go deep in this tournament. They will just have to try and overcome their reputation of being "chokers" when the pressure is on.
The Netherlands, on their day, can be a tricky prospect for most teams, but with the way that the South Africans have been playing, it is hard to see the Dutch causing them any sort of real problems. The Proteas batsmen will be confident about being able to plunder runs against the Dutch bowling attack, while the Netherlands batsmen will struggle against the pace and guile of South Africa's quicks.
It is for all of the above reasons that I can see nothing but a South Africa win against the Netherlands, and a pretty comfortable one at that.
