Lewis Brown

Lewis has been working with the Betinireland.ie team as Managing Editor since joining the I-gaming industry at the end of 2020. He originally cut his teeth in marketing for the Executive Search and Recruitment industry, but combining a passion for sports and betting has made the transition to sports betting and casino content a smooth one.

Working with Betinireland is certainly a different challenge to what I was doing before, but the principles are the same: ensuring that my team delivers high quality content that grows our company voice and gives the best to our readers. I used to be a writer myself, so I understand the challenges that my writers face and the solutions needed to make them thought leaders in their field. Plus, it is a bonus that I have been able to introduce new directions for Betinireland on the rugby side!'

Lewis was a regular on the rugby pitch in his youth, having played from the age of seven till he was 16 for Worcester RFC and his school side at Haberdashers' Adams. He originally played tighthead prop, but eventually made the switch to second row around the age of 13.

I think I was a little too tall to stick to playing in the front row. You don't get too many props at 6'8 in their early teens!
